I played this song live with a Bliptronic 5000 from Thinkgeek.com. I recorded it into Renoise and used some effects to make the sound of the instrument more my own.
The next song I am working on was made with a Bliptronic 5000. The sounds coming from it are just terrible, but a little work in Renoise really makes it wonderful.
On April 7, 2010 PublicSpaces Lab will be 3 years old. It will also be when we are doing our 20th release, one that we want it to be a celebration of this netlabel, of our artists but also a celebration of the future:

Today we are launching a Call for Entries for PS020 “The Future Lab” . Our idea for this compilation is to have 20 original tracks from 20 different artists. We will be sending, today, a personal invitation to 10 of those artists (mainly artists that have already released with us) and we will, from today on and till March 15th, be accepting submissions for PS020 to select another 10 to be a part of this compilation.
30. Statue Gallery
Here is a new dark ambient track that I have been wanting to make. The only instruments I used were my Gibson SG Special and a kazoo. No virtual instruments were used. It feels good to record with real instruments again. I haven’t done so in a long time.

Pure Tone did a slight bit of mastering to clean this track up. I’ve replaced the old file with the new one. He does great work. He mastered the compilation release from Public Spaces Lab.
